All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems and Prospects of Phytoimmunity in Plant Breeding" (Kyiv, November 10–11, 2022)
Synopsis
The conference proceedings highlight theoretical and practical aspects of contemporary phytoimmunology. It was demonstrated that plant resistance to harmful organisms is determined by a complex of genetic, physiological-biological, and anatomical-morphological characteristics, making resistant varieties a crucial component of contemporary crop protection technologies. Therefore, development of fundamental and applied research in phytoimmunology is increasingly important, particularly in the context of climate change. Climate fluctuations disrupt interpopulation relationships in microbiota, leading to the emergence of disease pathogens previously uncommon for certain crops. Moreover, environmental changes can accelerate the formation of new pathogenic strains, worsening the sanitary condition of phytocenoses. The collection is intended for researchers, lecturers, postgraduate students, and master's students.
