Synopsis

The book presents elements of a cultivation technology for energy willow adapted to various agro-climatic zones of Ukraine which is based on comprehensive scientific research and takes into account biological, agronomic, technological, and economic factors. As a result, a pioneering method has been developed that ensures a biomass yield of 30–50 tonnes per hectare. The book also outlines efficient utilisation of biomass. The technology includes detailed agronomic requirements for cultivation operations and demonstrates the economic viability of growing energy willow and processing its biomass into solid biofuel.

The publication is intended for researchers, experts in bioenergy, entrepreneurs, and graduate and undergraduate students of agricultural institutions.
